Edino Steele once again proved to his Racers teammates that he is a genuine quarter miler. Again, at the 10th staging of the Camperdown Classic, Steele dismissed the challenges of Olympic Games 100m and 200m silver medallist Yohan Blake and Warren Weir, who was third in the Olympics 200m and second at the World Championships in 2013.

Steele, who timed the race perfectly, caught and moved away from Weir, who got out very fast, on the curve to take victory in 45.44 seconds. Allodin Fothergill took second in the heat and overall in 46.15secs. Blake ran on strong for third in 47.20 while Weir faded badly to finish in 47.53.
