Picky eaters will love this Caribbean twist on cooking brussel sprouts. The best brussel sprouts recipe ever are bold words, but I assure you that you and your family will love these brussel sprouts. Bold flavors of the Caribbean will mask the sort of sweaty socks smell you’d get from plain steamed, boiled or roasted brussel sprouts. I’d be the first to admit that it’s not a Caribbean ingredient, but if treated as we would cabbage, you’ll get amazing results. Now you have an amazing brussel sprouts recipe for the holidays and I know your family will be asking for this at thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

You’ll Need….

1 lb brussel sprouts
3/4 cup prepared salted fish (cod – shredded)
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 table spoon olive oil
1 pimento pepper (aka seasoning pepper)
2 birds eye pepper (1/4 scotch bonnet)
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
