“Commencement is my absolute favorite day of the year,” said Marc Jerome, president of Monroe College. “It was an incredible day and such a joy to see these incredible students from Jamaica who worked so hard to earn their degrees take that walk across the iconic stage at Radio City Music Hall as their names were called out.”

Next year will mark Monroe College’s 30th year educating Jamaican students. In fact, its very first international students were eight students from Jamaica back in 1994. They were also the very first students welcomed into on-campus housing as the first dorm opened.
