Jamaica is the land of Bob Marley, Usain Bolt and Rastafarians: a World-class cultural powerhouse. Then again, when it comes to economics, Jamaica is completely irrelevant. Politics wise, Jamaica is only known as for being one of the most dangerous countries on Earth: so much that almost nobody dares to make business here.

Nevertheless, things might change. After the expansion of the Panama canal, the Caribbean sea has become even more important for international trade. Many of those big merchant ships that are sailing the area need a place to get fuel or leave some merch, and Jamaica is the best place for this: they are open for business and they speak English as their native language.

Can Jamaica become the Singapore of the Caribbean? Are we going to witness how this country ends with rampant violence and improve its situation? We will answer to all these questions on this video.
