Caribbean Saltfish Fried Rice Recipe Tasty Tuesday’s |

Learn how to make a quick and tasty fried rice with bits of salted cod and leftover rice with the help of Caribbean chef and award winning cookbook author Chris De La Rosa of In this episode of Tasty Tuesday’s Chris will show you how to use your leftover rice to make a tasty Caribbean style fried rice dish, with wonderful island flavors.

For this fried rice you’ll need…

2-3 cups cooked rice (chilled)
1 scallion
1 shallot (diced)
2 tablespoon veg oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup diced bell pepper
2 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice powder
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup prepared salted fish (cod)
1/2 scotch bonnet pepper (no seeds)
