Simple Avocado Grapefruit Salad Recipe.

Learn how to make a simple salad with ripe avocados and juicy grapefruit, with Caribbean cookbook author Chris De La Rosa. Thinly sliced avocado along with grapefruit segments, red onion, cilantro and sea salt is combined before being topped with a bit of kick from bird’s eye pepper.

To make this avocado salad into more of a meal, you can add cherry tomatoes and cooked shrimp.

2 ripe avocados
1/4 red onion
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 grapefruit (segmented)
pinch sea salt
pinch black pepper
1 bird’s eye pepper (seeded)
