Stewed Pork Ribs #TastyTuesdays |

Learn how to make Caribbean stewed pork ribs in this episode of #TastyTuesdays with Chris De La Rosa of Using the classic way of brown-stewing, we’ll marinate pork ribs with a traditional Caribbean marinade, then we’ll caramelize some brown sugar before adding the seasoned ribs. Finally we’ll braise the ribs until they are tender, packed with rich Caribbean flavors and simply delightful to eat. With a lovely hint of ginger, a slight kick of heat from the pepper and gentle undertones of herbs from the Caribbean Green seasoning, this will surely become your favorite pork ribs recipe.

For the stewed ribs recipe you’ll need..

3-4 lbs pork ribs
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Caribbean Green Seasoning
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 slices ginger
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
2 birds eye pepper (bird pepper)
1 tablespoon veg oil
1 1/2 tablespoon golden brown sugar
2.5 – 3 cups water
