Usain Bolt: “I’m a true champion”

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt did just enough in 100 metres at the World Championships to defeat Justin Gatlin and take the gold medal at the World Championships here on Sunday #Beijing2015.

Bolt got a fairly good start, which enabled him to keep pace with Gatlin before taking the race in the final five metres as Gatlin wilted under the pressure, to suffer his first defeat in two years.

Bolt ran 9.79 seconds with Gatlin doing 9.80 for second as third was shared by Trayvon Bromell of United States of America and Andre De Grasse of Canada, who were both timed in 9.92.
