VIDEO: Cockpit Country Water
As part of Windsor Research Centre’s “Cockpit Country Is Our Home” informational series, “Cockpit Country Water ” is a short video about the importance of Cockpit Country in regulating Jamaica’s water cycle, providing 40% of Jamaica’s clean, fresh water to 6 parishes, with 6 of Jamaica’s major rivers originating in Cockpit Country including the two largest, Great River and Black River. Cockpit Country’s underground reservoir is the most important fresh water source in Jamaica.
