In a Kingston town hall event at the University of the West Indies (UWI), participant Miguel “Steppa” Williams, a Jamaican Rastaman, asked the US President Barack Obama if he would champion the legalization of ganja. Steppa’s opening was strong “Give thanks! Yes greetings Mr President,” said Williams, “life and blessings on you and your family.” He continued ” “My name is Miguel Williams but you can call I and I ‘steppa’… That is quite sufficient, ya man.” See the video here
