Bob Marley: The Complete Annotated Bibliography is a tremendous resource for all Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, The Wailers and reggae fans. For the first time ever, every single book that has been published on Bob Marley and Peter Tosh from around the world is documented in one bibliography. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joe Jurgensen is an author, musician and collector. Joe has released 5 albums worth of original material. He was the founding member of The Hector Welsh Project an early hip hop, reggae, jazz funk band from Dayton, OH. They released two albums and performed hundreds of shows throughout the midwest and east coast with bands such as O.A.R., The Itals and The Samples. Joe is also the founding member along with Mike Meyers of Jahcoustic a roots rock reggae band. They have released two albums both produced by legendary reggae producer/engineer Karl Pitterson. The first was a self titled album released in 2003 and the second was titled Greet With Fire and was released in 2006. Both are available on amazon.com and at cdbaby.com/jahcoustic. They are currently working on a new album which of course will be recorded in Miami, FL with Karl at the helm. Their music can be heard on the Golf Channel during the PGA Nationwide Tour tournaments. He is a collector of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Wailers memorabilia. His collection includes tens of thousands of items and much of it can be seen at www.jahcoustic.com. He has written magazine articles in The Beat and Riddim about Bob Marley books as well as host a Marley book database at www.bobmarleymagazine.com. Joe worked with the estate of Peter Tosh in the making and release of Tosh’s Live at the Jamaicain World Music festival album. In 2009, after several years of research he published his first book, Bob Marley: The Complete Annotated Bibliography. His close friend and Marley authority Roger Steffens wrote the foreword. Joe lives in Louisville, KY with his wife and three children. He is an avid golfer, guitarist, wine & rum connoisseur and hockey lover.
