The Canadian Tux takes Jamaica seaside style!  Canada, you can do no wrong because feeling the blues never felt so good 🙂BlasianGurl, Victoria Kristine, Fashion Blogger, Denim on Denim, Canadian Tuxedo, One TeaspoonBlasianGurl, Victoria Kristine, Fashion Blogger, Denim on Denim, Canadian Tuxedo, One TeaspoonIt was the blue and white tones of this gorgeous beach gazebo setting that inspired my outfit today. I’m styled in the famous ‘denim-on-denim’ or as some of you may know it – the Canadian Tuxedo.  This high-waisted shredded pencil skirt is full of flavour and goes perfectly with this long sleeve Maison Scotch denim shirt. Although I’ve had my denim shirt for what seems like ages, I still wear it all the time because this kind of basic look never feels old to me.  The dark-to-light gives great contrast and the denim fabrics look fab together!  I’ve styled this outfit today with rolled sleeves and a few extra buttons undone for a plunging neckline, but you guys can certainly play around with this depending on your personal preference.  My brown chunky mule heels added the perfect flow and just enough distinction to balance the full denim look 🙂

They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity – all I hope for in my clothes. – Yves Saint Laurent
