It’s official. The Central Gardens located at Dunn’s River Falls and Park in St. Ann are open to visitors. The gardens represent an investment of some $122.5 million by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC). UDC manages the attraction via the St. Ann Development Company (SADCo). The project involve establishing more locker sheds for rent, themed garden landscaping sites, a picnic area with rental kiosks, gazebos, shoe rentals, photo and video sales facilities, plus an interactive water feature where children can play. According to Dr. Damian Graham, the general manager of UDC, people throughout the world want to visit Dunn’s River and now there are  even more features there that are worthy of their attention. The design of the project was inspired by feedback from visitors, and a market analysis indicated a need to offer more features, especially for children and people with physical challenges. The park is open from 8:30 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon. It is open from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm on cruise ship days.
