MGWFE is the brainchild of Councilwoman Lisa Davis who has been on the Council since August 2010. “I am truly excited about my event!  This promises to be not just an event but a positive and enriching “experience”! To do something different is a vision I have had for a very long time. This unique wine and food experience will be delicious and like no other event in the South Florida area. Miami Gardens is a wonderful premiere City with many professionals hungry to “experience” a fantastic evening of entertainment, great wine and scrumptious food. This is yet another history making milestone for our City’s Legacy!!” said Davis. “I am ecstatic to bring something fresh and exciting to Miami Gardens this November because I understand the importance of hosting events like the Wine & Food Experience and how it will become a platform to strengthen relationships with Miami Gardens residents and the South Florida community,” she continued.

The Miami Gardens Wine & Food Experience will follow in the footsteps of the City’s massive 11 year signature brand, the annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) — an internationally celebrated music festival with an A -list artist line-up and attendance record breaking music festival that occurs every March enjoying sold out crowds and renown brand and marketing equity for the City of Miami Gardens.

With an expected attendance of 800, the “experience” will be just the beginning of a food, wine and entertainment event that is sure to be relished for years to come. This inaugural event will feature a surprise celebrity host, complimentary tastings from South Florida’s hottest chefs, master chef cook-off, samplings of renowned international/national wine & spirits, mixologist showoff and live music.

General Admission tickets for the Miami Gardens Wine & Food Experience are $65 per person (Presale tickets are $60 from Aug.21st to Sept. 21st); VIP tickets are $120 per person (Presale tickets are $100 from Aug. 21st to Sept. 21st).
