Our first trip to Jamaica was in 1995 for a friends 40th birthday. Neither my husband or myself had any desire to go – and our friend had not prepared us for what Jamaica was really like. Since our first visit we have returned every
year – in between visits we have what we call “Jamaica flu” (that is the yearning to return!)
We stay at a small boarding house on the cliffs of Negril, much better than an all inclusive since you get out to meet the local people. The folks in Jamaica are the warmest and most sincere I’ve ever met.
At this moment am waiting to return to Negril (soon come). I think I’ll kiss the ground when the plane lands!
Go to Jamaica, get out and meet the people. You will never be the same!
