Host and popular media personality, Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett, has officially signed a lucrative recording deal with production powerhouse label Good Good Production.
Owned and operated by producer and event tycoon Evan ‘Zum’ Powell, Good Good Production has had eminent success with recording projects since the label’s inception in 2010 and has released hit singles with major artistes over the years including; Vybz Kartel, Kymani Marley, Alkaline, Beenie Man and Mavado. This is the first time however the label has signed a recording deal with an artiste.
“Many artistes have been interested in working with us over the years but we never decided to go full sail until now. We think Curvy Diva already has the dancehall image and influence and so we were excited to be a part of her artiste transition from the ground floor” Evan ‘Zum’ Powell, CEO of Good Good Production shared
Yanique, the host of Jamaican based talent show Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall now in its 10th season, has always had a love for music and is very excited to pursue this new experience as a professional recording artiste.

The Curvy Diva intends to make changes with her image as well and will be open and honest with her fans through her recorded material.
“Everything will change, persons will get to know me a little better because I put how I feel and what I’m going through in my songs, a lot of things that I don’t talk publicly about will be addressed in my singles” Yanque added
The recording deal with Good Good Production will see the label investing in recording singles and releasing visuals as well as marketing and promoting The Curvy Diva as a brand.
Her very first single ‘Lifestyle’ produced by Good Good Production will be released in a matter of days with a video release party slated for her birthday on April 13.
Yanique will also be recording material with popular producers including Red Boom, Apt 19 Music and Andrew Blacks and should see these singles released throughout the spring into the summer.
