See the sites as expert guides use poles to maneuver your bamboo raft through the tropical rainforest environment along the river. Rafting on the river dates back to 1911 when the banana farmers in the valley transported their produce to market on the waterway. Less crowded than other river venues, the Rio Grande rafting experience offers stupendous views and gentle rapids.
