The Christmas season in Jamaica features a number of concerts in the days leading up to the Big Day. It isn’t hard to find one; They are held in schools, community centers, workplaces, town squares, and even churches. There are also many parties and Christmas Eve Balls, with some of these going on until Christmas morning for hearty revelers. The traditional “JonKonnu” celebration, which reflects the island’s African heritage, is also held at this time.
