Day 87 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Revitalize at the Blue Hole Mineral Spring

Located in Brighton, Westmoreland, just outside of Negril, the Blue Hole Mineral Spring is completely surrounded by karst limestone, and the minerals that occur naturally in the limestone filter the water that constantly swells up from underground. This provides a luxurious mineral bath for the enjoyment of visitors. Adventurous types can jump 40 feet through the cavern surrounding Blue Hole, while those looking for a more relaxing experience can enjoy the revitalizing qualities of the spring’s waters in a calm pool. The local plants and animal life add to the peace and tranquility of the site. Hiking, horseback riding, and volleyball are other options available at Blue Hole.
