We asked our facebook fans to help answer a question submitted to us by email: Help answer a Jamaica Travel question we received by email: Could you suggest a place to stay in Negril that is close to the beach. I also want fairly easy access to the restaurants and attractions in the area. I am planning to stay around four days which of course may be a factor in helping me decide where to stay.

K. Frea: Just got back from Negril, Legends, Kuyaba or Samsara, Blue Cave Castle would all be good choices. Check Trip Adviser for great advise.
K. Hanson: if they want something west end, my favorite place is “catch a falling star garden” love it!!!
K. Cherif: Kuyaba Negril or Pure Garden Resort.
C. Jackson: Oasis…closer to Riks Cafe…It’s clean and the staff are friendly..
P. Brown: Kuyaba is on beach near everything. Stayed there 3 different times and loved it.

C. Hermansen: ForReal or Coco LaPalm. Both have hot tubs and more local ambience.
A. Sergerie: I stayed at Marina s Beach Resort.. There s pool, bar, restaurant, beach.. Wishing i was there now!
H. Taylor: Depends on budget. You can get whatever kind of paradise you want in Negril though. So s good choice already made

Hanson: tell her to make sure she goes to “sweet spice” restaurant for some good food too.if this person wants close to the beach, I would suggest “fun holiday” or ‘travellers beach resort” , or ” Bourbon Beach” all are right ON seven mile beach…and Jungle is walking distance, so is downtown where American Pie and Corner bar is. taxi ride is 200$ Jamaican to get down to Ricks
J. Savage: Legends on the beach is very close to the cliffs. They also have a sister property on the cliffs (Samsara) and a shuttle that runs to the cliffs.
S. Lee: I would say legends also. That is where I go all the time! It is close to all good hang outs!!!!
