The 2020 Jamaica Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships has officially been cancelled as a coronavirus safety measure.
The decision to cancel Champs came in a meeting between the Jamaican Government, title sponsor GraceKennedy, and the organisers of the event, the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA). The cancellation comes a day after the announcement of the first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) virus in Jamaica.
