The 2016 staging of Mello Go Roun’ will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at the Independence Village, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Organized by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Mello Go Roun’ promises to be an exciting experience for the entire family.
Mello Go Roun’ is being held under the 2016 Emancipation and Independence Celebrations theme, “Let’s Get Together and Feel Alright” and will showcase the most entertaining and award-winning talent pieces from the National Festival of the Performing Arts in the categories of speech, music, dance, drama and traditional folk forms.
As the premier family entertainment event of the Jamaica Festival, Mello Go Roun’ promises to provide an evening of excellent entertainment as the Jamaica Festival celebrations are heightened.
Tickets for the shows are adults $1200 pre-sold, and $1500 at the gate and children $500 and are available Sangster’s Book Stores locations: Mall Plaza, Portmore, Sovereign Centre, King Street, Cross Roads and Spanish Town and also at all Bill Express locations island-wide.
