Negril is the site of the new Cliff Hotel, a new facility set to open on December 1, 2015. It has been described as a “reinterpretation” of the former Moon Dance Resort. The new hotel will feature 33 suites, as well as four cottages with one, four or five bedrooms. The restaurant at the Cliff Hotel will be in the charge of Delius Shirley and partner Chef Cindy Hutson. They currently operate the Ortanique restaurants in Grand Cayman and in Coral Gables, Florida. The Cliff Hotel, which seeks to be one of the best and most luxurious hotels in Jamaica, is designed to offer guests a real escape from the outside world combined with a peak vacation experience and gourmet dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
