In the run-up to Reggae Sumfest 2022, Montego Bay’s hip strip definitely had the craze courtesy of the Blitz ‘All-Black Chic Theme’ party that took place at Lounge 27/27.  As one of the marquis Sumfest pre-events, Blitz certainly showed out as evidenced by the full-capacity crowd of attendees who reveled into the wee-hours of the morning.  And it didn’t cause a stir that the venue had an oceanside location and view with the soothing sea waves rolling in all night.

As it happened, there were several notable figures in attendance, including Germany’s Warrior Sound System selector, Mattia (alongside his wife);  Robert Russell, Former Reggae Sumfest Director and Deputy Chairman; and the man himself, Joe Bogdanovich, Downsounds Records CEO and Chairman of Reggae Sumfest Productions –Reggae Sumfest 2022.  The DJs manning the decks for the night were DJ Jigga, DJ Ashile, and DJ Bishop Escobar (who also handled the MC duties).
