The Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA) held their Awards Dinner on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the St. John Bosco Auditorium in Hatfield, Manchester. The event, steered by Mrs. Vivien Morris-Brown, Master of Ceremonies, was well attended and fun-filled.

SRHA Regional Director, Mr. Michael Bent, in his greeting, said the SRHA is blessed to have committed employees who go the extra mile to meet goals despite the challenges that arise. He lauded each department on their specific contributions to the development of the SRHA and assured staff members that their hard work does not go unnoticed.

He added that the awardees chosen did not diminish the value, and contributions of other employees, who did not receive awards this year.

Mr. Leopold Daubon, SRHA retiree was honoured for his years of service and hard work. He received a citation, a gift and a plaque. Mr. Stanhope Scott, Parish Manager for Manchester, who will retire February 2016, was also recognized for his commitment and dedication to the SRHA.

The event saw performances from special artistes like, Violinist, Mark Stephenson, Jodian Pantry, 1st Runner-up, Digicel Rising Stars, Porus High School Choir, 2nd Runner-up, All Together Sing, SRHA Transitional Dancers and others.

The dinner was supported by SRHA staff, friends and family.
