TripAdvisor  has released its 2016 list of the 25 Best Hotels in the Caribbean, and three hotels in Jamaica made the list. These include the Rockhouse Hotel, the Jamaica Inn, and Sandals Royal Plantation.

Ranked fifth of 25 is the Rockhouse Hotel. The hotel is  located on the West End Cliffs, 4.4km from downtown Negril, 10km from the Kool Runnings Waterpark, and 11km from the Negril Aerodrome. Its hexagonal thatched-roof buildings, volcanic Jamaican coastline, and sparkling turquoise waters make for a spectacular natural setting. The style of the hotel was patterned after the natural beauty of African villages. From the hotel, there are clear vistas and views extending all the way to the Caribbean Sea. Its staircases were built into the rock around the hotel and provide easy access to the water. Rockhouse Hotel provides an environment of pure relaxation on a rocky bay that should not be missed.

At Number 14 in the TripAdvisor ranking is the Jamaica Inn in Saint Ann, Ocho Rios has ranked among the top luxury hotels in the Caribbean since 1950. . Since 1950, Its natural beauty is second to none,  and its quietness, the privacy of its beaches, luxurious accommodations, and enchanting views of the  Caribbean Sea ensure its position among the top places to stay in the region.

The Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios ranked in 16th position among the Top 25 with special  mention made of its tropical location, delicious cuisine, and excellent service. Located on a private white-sand beach overlooking the Caribbean, 2.4 km from historic Prospect Plantation and 2.6 km from Green Grotto Caves, its luxury accommodations are meant exclusively for couples. Its spacious rooms are equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay, including an all-inclusive meal plan and 24 hour room service. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from Ian Fleming International Airport, which is just 20 minutes away.
