Toronto Musicians Julian Taylor and Jeremy Elliott Remember guitarist Bruce Adamson

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our dear friend and guitarist extraordinaire, Bruce Adamson.

Bruce was a member of the Canadian rock band Staggered Crossing and remained a very close personal and music friend of the Julian Taylor Band until his untimely death on Thursday, December 17, 2015.

Friends and former band mates, singer-songwriter Julian Taylor and drummer Jeremy Elliott remember him with great fondness, with Taylor saying, “Bruce was a brilliant guitar player. He was one the best in the world and certainly one of the best I’ve ever played with.” Elliott adds, “No matter what, we knew we had the best guitarist in the room every night we played.”

Bruce was a graduate of York University, Queen’s Faculty of Law and the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. His hot guitar licks, good humour and intelligence will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind former spouse and mother of his children, Arianne Reid, his daughter Maggie, his son Robbie, his father Torrance Adamson and his mother Verna, as well as his uncle and good friend Doug Adamson.
