Jamaica’s Negril Cliffs has been ranked among the top five adventure destinations in the Caribbean by Islands magazine. Visitors to the island can head to Rick’s Cafe to enjoy rum drinks at the bar, which hugs the famous limestone cliffs, and watch locals and tourists jump from the top of the cliffs into the sea below. The more adventurous visitors can try the adrenaline-fueled activity themselves. The tallest of the cliffs rises 35 feet above sea level, but there are lower spots from which visitors can jump into the water from just five feet above the surface. Experts caution against combining the activities of drinking and jumping, however, focusing on safety above all. Other adventure destinations in the Caribbean listed by Islands were Dominica, Belize, Puerto Rico, and Aruba.
