The group chief executive officer of GraceKennedy Ltd., Don Webby, has been honored with the international Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Young Caribbean Professional Network (YPCN). The award was presented on April 5, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. YPCN presents the award to the businessperson who contributed significantly to the economic development and job creation in the Caribbean via global trade and investment from the United States. The organization, which is based in Philadelphia, seeks to create access to educational and economic opportunities for young professionals and students in the global market. According to Blane Stoddart, head of the YPCN, Webby was selected for the award for his acquisition of Le Fe Foods, his commitment to investing in Kingston by constructing a headquarters there, and his major sponsorship to the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association high-school championships, the Penn Relays and his 22-year commitment to Team Jamaica Bickle,
