Bridal Guide has named Jamaica to its 2016 listing of the Top 22 honeymoon destinations in the Caribbean. Citing the laid-back ambiance of the island, and its easy-listening reggae music, the bridal experts mention St. Ann, the home of Bob Marley, and snorkeling at the Montego Bay Marine Park as particularly perfect for your honeymoon vacation. The many resorts on the island provide a multitude of relaxing honeymoon choices as well, but travel advisers note that one of the best ways to experience Jamaica is to travel a dusty road to a local bar and enjoying a Red Stripe beer. One of the best honeymoon accommodations is Jake’s, a 29-room boutique hotel that offers a music library of world music and very affordable, private rooms. Those looking for a bit more luxury should try the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, which also offers some of the best in island culture.
