Mother – Son, Cedella and Skip Marley Honored with Three Awards at Last Night’s 35th Internationalreggae & World Music Awards (Irawma) in Florida

Three time GRAMMY award winning recording artist Cedella Marley and her son, Skip Marley were honored with awards at last night’s 35th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held last night at the Center for the Arts in Coral Springs, Florida.

Cedella Marley was honored with two special IRAWMA Awards: A Lifetime/Hall of Fame Award (for more than 35 Years of Outstanding Contributions to the Music  Industry) and the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award.  Skip Marley had three total nominations including Best Music Video for his single “Life,” and received his first IRAWMA Award as the winner of the Best New Entertainer category.
