Like a blast from the past, Shaggy has one of his songs featured in one of the newest commercials for the United States banking behemoth, JP Morgan Chase Bank. The commercial promotes retirement planning to the sounds of Shaggy’s “Boombastic” from 1995. The tune plays in the background of a 30-second video clip. “Boombastic” was previously included in a Tide commercial from the Philippines in 2015, moving a long way from its appearance in a Levi’s Jeans commercial. The tune was a single and second track off the album of the same name, which sold more than one million copies in the U.S. and won a Grammy award.
