Enjoy a mineral bath at one of the oldest public facilities in Kingston. A quiet facility that is found on the eastern boundary of the city, it offers options perfect for individuals and groups. The beautiful lawns provide an excellent picnic location, and the springs attract visitors from all over the world who come to experience renewal and invigoration that only a mineral springs can provide. The therapeutic waters have their source in the Rockfort Hills, and the springs are said to have appeared after a strong earthquake hit Jamaica in 1907. The springs were declared a national monument in 1992.
