Day 198 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Exploring Good Hope Estate

Put on your explorer’s hat and investigate the history of Good Hope Estate, a 2,000-acre plantation. Accessible from Ocho Rios or Montego Bay, you can stroll the estate grounds, view the Colonial Village at the site, and see former plantation buildings. There’s a pool at the plantation where you can swim, and you’ll have a chance to walk along the banks of the Martha Brae River. At the river, you have the option of tubing, ziplining, and taking a tour of the Great House itself. The estate is home to many exotic birds and includes a 9,000-square-foot aviary. There’s also a rum-tasting option.

In case you missed any of the past “365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica“, here they are all together.
