Day 217 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Travel to Trident Castle

Trident Castle in Port Antonio displays its white turrets in contrast to the blue Caribbean Sea and the Blue Mountains. One of the island’s most interesting landmarks, it is the only “traditional” castle to be found in the Caribbean region. The castle is located on seven acres, and offers accommodations for eight. There is a helicopter pad and a private chapel. The castle was originally constructed for a German baroness in the Eighties. Currently owned by Jamaica’s own Michael Lee Chin, it is a very popular spot for weddings.
