Day 316 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Learn More: Marcus Garvey Reading Room

Located in the Parish Library in St. Ann, the Marcus Garvey Reading Room is near the birthplace of the National Hero and displays a copy of Garvey’s birth certificate, works about his life, and a timeline of his life, including events like his deportation from the United States back to the island. The historic library building was constructed in 1834. A great place to learn more about Jamaican history.
