That’s what I call hospitality

Being a travel agent, I was invited to Sandals MoBay when it first opened. My friend and I loved it from day one, but were curious about the rest of the island.

We hired a driver named Rod, who was very friendly and who took us to many wonderful hotels for inspection and sights to explore. We enjoyed him so much, we went with him somewhere each day. By the time our stay of a week was over, we became good friends, singing songs that we all knew and telling jokes.

Two years later, my friend and I arrived back at the airport and who comes running over to greet us but Rod! Now that’s what I call hospitality. He remembered us and we shared some time together once again. I truly feel this is a true indication of the spirit of Jamaica and its people.
