Jamaica Included in US News and World Reports List of Best Places to Visit in the Caribbean

Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae, the Rastafari movement, and excellent all-inclusive resort accommodations, has been recognized by US News and World Reports on its list of the 16 best places in the Caribbean to visit in 2016. It was cited for its beaches, varied natural environment, and music venues. According to the magazine, most tourists who travel to Jamaica stay at one of the all-inclusive resorts. The island is the largest in the region and difficult to cover in a single road trip, so visitors tend to prioritize their vacation activities. Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Negril received special mention. Among the top attractions singled out by the magazine were Dunn’s River Falls and Park in Ocho Rios, Seven Mile Beach in Negril, and the Blue Mountains National Park.
