Jamaican Shevon Thompson Chosen to Play in NCAA Seniors All-Star Basketball Game

Shevon Thompson of Jamaica ended his career at George Mason University as one of just 20 seniors in Division One college basketball playing in the NCAA Seniors All-Star game. In the past season, he was among the Top Five in the country in rebounds and led his team in scoring. He received conference honors as a selectee for Atlantic 10, All Third team. Thompson played just 22 minutes per game, but was still able to make it to the Top 16 players in rebounds in college basketball. He is also ranked Number One on a per-minute basis. Thompson was a student at Vere Technical and Quality Academics and in 2012 was the first player selected for the official inaugural year of the Jamaica Basketball Elite Academy.
