The 13th Annual Travel Professionals of Color (TPOC) Conference & Trade Show is set to happen on May 13-17, 2015 at the Crown Plaza Atlanta Airport Hotel, Atlanta, GA. The theme is “Navigating the Future – Meeting the Challenges Ahead”. The conference will be exciting and packed with information that enriches, educates, motivates and promotes career and business growth for individuals and travel professionals across the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.

The 3-day educational conference is designed to inform and enrich attendees as they learn how to market to ethnic groups and discuss diversity issues affecting the industry. The conference has a soft opening on Wednesday afternoon, May 13th with the Atlanta City and Cultural Tour. The tour will highlight the strong heritage tourism elements of the area and be followed by a Welcome Reception in the evening. The official Opening Session and workshops are held on Thursday with workshops and special speakers continued on Friday and Saturday.

A Family Reunion Workshop on Friday will provide valuable insight to travel professionals and consumers on planning and producing the ultimate family reunion experience. A panel of noteworthy professionals representing various convention and visitor bureaus from throughout the Metropolitan Atlanta Area will present this workshop. The workshop facilitators are Gloria and Solomon Herbert, publishers of Black Meetings and Tourism Magazine.
