The Chinese New Year of the Monkey Celebrations 2016  took place at Miami Dade College, Kendall campus on February 14th. Many of the attendees were from the Jamaican Chinese community. The festival was  jointly hosted by the Confucius Institute and the Chinese Cultural Foundation in Miami. The colorful celebrations featured food, Lion Dances, tai chi demonstrations, calligraphy, face painting, acrobatics, arts & crafts, and Dragon Parades as well as cultural stage performances.
