Corn Bread

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

METHOD:

  1. Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add milk, eggs, vanilla and oil.
  3. Beat fast until smooth (do not over beat)
  4. Pour into a greased baking pan
  5. Bake in 425 degrees oven for 25 – 30 minutes.
