Day 178 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Play a Few Holes at the Manchester Country Club

Golfers will appreciate a visit to the oldest golf course in the Caribbean. The club is a prime example of “the old New England” in that the course follows the natural contours of the land. The course offers subtle and crafty play, according to experts. The course was built in 1865 and offers nine holes over a distance of 2,865 yards. The club is carved into the hills of the southern Jamaica and is located at an elevation of over 2,000 feet so golfers are provided with some spectacular views. A short but challenging course that shouldn’t be missed.

In case you missed any of the past “365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica“, here they are all together.
