During his first official visit to New York City, Minister of Tourism, the Hon Edmund Bartlett and Director of Tourism, Paul Pennicook, met with key Jamaican stakeholders. The Diaspora is an important part of Minister Bartlett’s growth strategy and on April 6, members of the Diaspora media, government officials, along with Jamaica’s influential community and business leaders were invited to a cocktail reception at Finn Partners, the public relations agency of record for the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB). Among those in attendance were His Excellency Courtenay Rattray, Jamaica’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; Assemblyman Nick Perry; Alsion Roach of The Alsion Roach Group; George Patsalos, President of the Jamaican American Chamber of Commerce and Kenton Senior, JTB’s Business Development Manager.
