The style of reggae legend Bob Marley has influenced a number of famous designers, including Miuccia Prada in 2005. Now Tommy Hilfiger is featuring Jamaica and Marley-inspired items in his Caribbean-themed show. For his Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Hilfiger displayed crocheted bucket hats in black, red, yellow and green, as well as sundresses and long mesh vests. According to Vogue magazine, one of his signature Caribbean “looks” was a tracksuit very similar to one worn by soccer-fan Bob Marley in the 1970s.
