The Jamaican Kayaksman embarks on never-done-before overseas fundraiser

Tony Greyson-Newman (The Jamaican Kayaksman), Jamaica’s first international kayaker. He’s about to embark on a never-done-before overseas fundraiser; where he kayaks over Jamaica’s well-known rivers over 7 days (2 rivers a day).

Tony has made waves nationally & internationally for his sheer determination, tenacity & sporting skill. He believes that you can start a sport at any age and is an advocate for more mature people becoming sporting athletes later on in life. Tony plans to enter the 2020 Olympics and will continue to raise money & awareness for kayaking in Jamaica.

This event is sponsored by the Jamaica Sports Tourist Board, Jamaica Sports Development Foundation, Jamaica Kayak and Canoe Federation, Victoria Mutual Group & Reggae Rollers Clothing. Tony is raising money for the Kingston Aquatic Sports Academy as well as promoting the sport of sprint/marathon kayaking.

He is available for press interviews from 13th February 2017. I have attached an immediate release with further information.
