The hipsters of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, arguably, at present, America’s most popular city, was given a reggae treat on a lovely balmly Friday fall evening at the Apple store in Williamsburg when reggae royalty, Kymani Marley teamed up with Gentleman of Germany to showcase their latest collaboration, Conversations, also the name of the album.
Pat McKay, NY’s female reggae media icon sat and conversed with the two reggae artistes about their coming together to make the album.
The crowded store was fully appreciative of the performance of the band , the acoustics and the acappella renditions of their songs and a few of Kymani’s dad’s famous repertoire.
Songs of Freedom, Three Little Birds and Jamaica’s other National anthem, One Love!
