On Saturday July 22, 2017, The National Dance Theatre Company hosted Patoo Clicks and Connects benefit performance at the Little Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica. The event was designed to raise funds for the award of academic scholarships to deserving final year, creative arts high school students who are embarking on their tertiary journey. Patoo Clicks and Connects was a vivacious and artistic illustration of Jamaica’s rich history with appropriate references of the West Indian Slave Trade, life on the West Indian Plantation and of course African and European Folk Forms. Here are photo highlights.
