QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
I need HELP! I have a piece of land and need to check the boundaries. Squatters built next door, but the realtor says their houses come over unto my property and so it cant be sold right now. I need to check the boundaries, but the squatters are threatening me not to enter the land as I dont have proof they are on my land.

RESPONSE: Dear Sharee,
You need not fear because anyone who does not have proper papers to stop a survey who tries to do so can land in legal trouble. We can assist in locating a surveyor and to get the police involved so he can survey the land in peace. If they are in fact on your land, you can get further assistance from the bailiff and the police to remove them after you get a Court order.
