Team Jamaica wins the Gold Medals for Chef and Team of the Year

The Jamaica National Culinary Team, dubbed “Team Jamaica “, won medals in all 7 competition categories available at this year’s Taste of the Caribbean held in Miami, Florida this week. The team won the gold medal for the Team of the Year category and Rochelle Grindley won the gold medal for Chef of the Year. Below is the Team Jamaica medal count:

Gold – Team of the Year
Gold – Rochelle Grindley , Chef of the Year
Silver – Tiffany Grant, Cheesecake category
Silver – Adrian Johnson, Bartender of the Year category
Bronze –  Michael Thomas, Beef and Seafood category
Bronze – Shekera Cassie, Pastry Chef of the Year
Bronze –  Marlon Brown, Junior Chef of the Year,
